NTOP RECHARGES THROUGH ANNUAL RETREAT AND OUTING
Posted June 11, 2012
From May 22 to 24,2012 the Non-Teaching Office Personnel (NTOP) went to St. Paul Center for Renewal in Brgy. Taywanak, Ilaya, Alfonso, Cavite for their annual retreat. This year’s retreat facilitator was Fr. Edwin Soliva, SDB. The retreat centered on one’s relationship with God and others. Specifically, the group reflected on God’s unconditional love for us. They also took a look at discipleship. It gave everyone encouragement and inspiration to recognize and realize one’s own potentials and to make better decisions in life. The retreat culminated with a Eucharistic celebration last May 24, 2012, the Solemnity of Mary Help of Christians. It was a perfect way to end the retreat that was truly spiritually refreshing. Indeed, everyone was challenged to live a life of excellence and always to see the good in life.
Right after lunch, the NTOP drove to Piña Colina Resort located in Tolentino-Ulat Road, Brgy. Francisco, Tagaytay City for their annual outing.
The program started with a team-building activity which is a quarterly activity of the NTOP. They were divided into three groups. Through these different activities, participants practiced collaboration, creativity, trust, and feedback. Above all, they enjoyed all the games. Team C was declared the winner after five activities. In the evening, a program was held to celebrate the birthday of our administrator, Fr. Junji Zarate, SDB. A “dating game” that Mrs. Elena Salcedo, Mrs. Noni Salandanan, Ms. Violy Roxas, Mrs. Icel Cruz, Ms. Jen Dulnuan, Mrs. Len Bartolome, Mr. Gabriel Balenbin and Fr. Junji Zarate, SDB participated really brought the house down. Later, a dance showdown between selected gentlemen and ladies of NTOP filled the night with entertainment. The ladies emerged as the winners. Different items were raffled courtesy of Fr. Anthony Paul E. Bicomong, SDB, our school Rector.
There’s no other way to be ready for a new school year. Recharging oneself through prayer and fun surely made everyone prepared for the challenges of the coming school year.
